Surrender - Part 7
LOVE IS GOD
- In the highest form of love, we become that which we love. There is no love there, as a matter of fact, because in ordinary language ‘love’ means the movement of our emotions towards something outside.
- Concentrated, intense stream has reached its destiny.
- Having brought God parallel to him earlier, experiencing as through God has touched him and hugged him earlier, in this final leap in his Love of God, the devotee experiences the inexplicable state where, the God has entered him, merged in him and he and God have become one.
- The only object, God - has now become the only subject - the devotee and the difference between the subject and object has now ceased.
- Now and hereafter, there is no separate eye available for the devotee to see any object. All objects have ceased to exist and now, the eye of the devotee is and can only be the eye of eye, the eye of Lord “Nayan Nayan mein Sai Aum”. ( Eye of eye, ear of ears.... these mysterious expressions are dealt in great detail in Kenopanishad)
- Love has found its fulfillment and there is neither love for God, nor love of God but the love now IS God.
- As the author often says, Love, loving Love, finds its fulfillment in LOVE supreme and there is no God, separate from LOVE.
This state was explained in the climax part of a session conducted on love is God. It is about which happened neither before, nor after, but just once in the history of mankind so far!
“The sweet sounds of songs in worship of Krishna along with the percussions played- dolak, nal, manjira etc. - had reached the crescendo and had crossed even the sky level.
Devotees were in ecstatic state, far beyond their body conscience, everyone was dancing, immersed in Krishna’s thoughts. The Dwar of Krishna's shrine opened on its own, Mira, singing the divine music of Lord, entered the sanctum sanctorum, the door of Lord closed on its own.

Next day, the pujari opens the door, Mira is not there physically. She is nowhere to be found but the chunri of Mira is seen enveloping/ adorning/ decorating the Lord’s flute.
The divine merger had happened. Do I say that The Bhakta had crossed all forms of Bhakti, Bhagwan had ceased to be in any comprehensible form, or can it be said that all the three - Bhakta, Bhakti and Bhagawan had either ceased to exist or can it be said that the three had merged and existing as one indivisible essence, which can be experienced only upon merging with Lord, as Mira merged with Krishna!!”

The Love IS God is as though the state where, Lord has fulfilled the purpose of His advent as Avataar by protecting the Deena, us, destitute, deprived of the taste of divine love and here are we, in the final stage, transforming from Deena to nadhi, flowing intensely with highest current of love and reaching and merging in the ocean of Love, Prema Sagara, Sai Rama!
Post merger of the stream (jiva) with the Ocean ( God=Love), can the diva ever be again separated?? Is there any one existing even to say/ to declare/ to roar that " I cannot be separated from God"??? Only silence remains!!!!
This existence as LOVE = GOD OR LOVE IS GOD, is what explained by Bhagwan as Atma nivedanam as under :-
Love.
