The verse goes like this
स पूर्वेषामपि गुरुः कालेनानवच्छेदात् ॥ १.२६॥
sa pūrveṣāmapi guruḥ kālenānavacchedāt
He is the Teacher of even the ancient teachers, being to limited by time.
