Swami Chidananda Saraswati

You are related to the Cosmic Divinity. You have come here
to attain that Divinity. May we move forward with a new strength, a new spirit and a new determination, focussing entirely upon the Goal and the Goal alone, making our entire life a total integrated movement towards the supreme consummation!

May we progress towards the Goal each hour, minute and second to unfold and express our Divinity! May divinity be our keynote! Let us try to express and manifest this divinity every moment. May all the powers at our command be directed towards this one ideal of making our inner truth, our essential nature, our true identity! Live in such a way that you may emerge out as a shining, radiantly divine, perfect and liberated soul.

Swami Chidananda

After generations of investigations and after having raised their consciousness to a very subtle level, the Vedic Rishis came to the Truth through direct experience. They declared that beneath this mortal body seen by the world of man is an immortal spirit unseen by the world of man. And that Eternal in the non-eternal body, that Imperishable in the perishable body is actually part of a vast, infinite, eternal, beginningless, endless, cosmic Spirit.

Timeless, beginningless and endless. It exists. It does not exist as an inert piece. It is Consciousness. Very much aware that it exists. It knows—I exist. So it is conscious existence. Existence is Sat, Consciousness is Chit. So it is Sat Chit.

Self-realisation is the goal of life because in that state there are no sorrows. Once you discover that you are the infinite, imperishable, eternal reality—you are liberated from all sorrow. In that state, there is only pure and permanent bliss and joy. Isn’t that the goal of each and every one of us?

Swami Chidananda

The power of divine love cannot be fathomed, it cannot be described. It will follow you wherever you go, whatever you are, whatever you have done. Even if you go to hell, it will reach out for you there and break hell to pieces and redeem you.

Swami Chidananda

Until the point where you attain Self-realisation, there is still a trace of the human personality—human personality identity consciousness.

Image result for swami chidanandaOne still feels that I am so and so. Even though he says God, God, God, God—there is also a little bit of I with God. There is 95% divinity and 5% this I. And this I is a myth.

You are actually a part and parcel of God. You are 100% divine. So this "I" has to go. As long as it is there, that Consciousness is not complete and perfect.

Let me give you an analogy. A river flows, flows, flows, flows. At last, it approaches the sea. And then it enters into the sea. But even after having entered into the sea, till quite some distance, the water still tastes sweet.

Because the river has not left its river-ness completely. It still retains its river-ness, although its two banks are finished. Bank-less, it is already in the sea.

That stage when the river is gone, but the vastness of the sea has not yet been attained, that interim period when it is neither the river nor the sea—that is the void.

But after it goes further into the sea, a time comes when the water is no longer sweet. It is the salt water of the sea alone.

Swami Chidananda

Dear All,

As it is, the quote is so clear that it hardly needs any explanation.

Every  one in the world is fully aware of any thing that we do which  does which are against the accepted values and ideals of the society at large.

This flows from the truth that no matter what we are, no matter how we are, we are verily divine and we cannot escape from our divine conscience throwing light on our right and wrong doing(s)!

So, what we do?

We do not want to discuss about our conscience, we do not want to give time to introspect what our conscience conveys to us, we do not want to give an ear to any  well wisher or any master who points out our mistakes.

This process is what is explained by Swamiji as "pulling a curtain/ turning a blind eye / putting it out of sight.

You start talking to any  person addicted to alcohol/ woman/ any bad habit. Initially, his conscience (in fact, He the consciousness) will try to listen and accept but very soon, his mind sends him a red signal and says " Hey, do not listen, listen to me, your ego and keep away from the advice which is on".

Immediately, that person will escape from the scene, either on some pretext or, even by yelling at you saying, " Mind your business, I know what I have to do", or if he is a week hearted person, he will say " I know you are right, but I cannot stop now"!

This is how Mind, blinding our intellect,  acting slave to our ego, blinds us and binds us to this samsara!!!

Think.....
