Almost each day, it comes from within to further expound/ elaborate on the daily quotes but often, the author keeps silent.
Since he seldom receives any response to any of the posts, he wonders..., if the posts are being read at all and if read, then with what seriousness!!!
Any way, coming to Today's quote, it has been explained in vedanta with the example of Gold and Ornament.
Gold is shaped, designed and projected as bangle/ necklace/ ring etc. Ultimately, when any ornament is again given back to the goldsmith/ sold back, the gold smith hammers the ornament and ultimately, Gold and Gold only remains.
Similarly, we human beings are created by the PERFECTIONIST that God IS and as elaborately explained in several posts under Introduction to upanishads and Creation theme posts as well in so many other write up on quotes, God, wiled to create and at that time, there as nothing else but He himself, as the creation had not yet emerged.
Hence, He had nothing else but only He himself, His essence as the material and knowledge and instrument to pour, to create the creation , you and me.
So, We are conclusively and convincingly nothing else but He himself, the Divinity Itself.
Like the Gold is shaped up to get various ornaments, we, essentially divine, have colored ourselves, shaped ourselves, changed ourselves, to exist as human beings with different feelings, different nature, different likes and dislikes, all born out of our ego.
So, the purpose of our existence in this creation is to beat ourselves ( beating here = Taking up intense sadhana) like the gold smith beats the bangle to retrace to the original Gold) and to return to our own essential nature which is Divinity, which is God's essence, the SAI TATWA!
Swami Said, "I SEPARATED MYSELF FROM MYSELF TO CREATE YOU AS MY SELF, SO AS TO LOVE MY SELF. "
Human being,smarter than God, thwarted the purpose for which God created him and replied to God thus:-
" I SEPERATED MYSELF FROM MYSELF ( I have seperated myself from the divine SELF that I am, to exist as the Ego I am) SO THAT I CAN LIVE FOR ALL BIRTHS AS myself (as the little i ego, me the body, me the mind, me the intellect) so that I NEVER RETURN TO YOU , O GOD, AS YOURSELF "!!!!!!
