Surrender - Part 9

Dear Ones,

Immersed in the experience of Stage 1 and Stage 2, let us all get enveloped in Stage 3:

STAGE 03- LOVING ALL, A NATURAL CONSEQUENCE, NEVER TO BE DELIBERATED, WHICH JUST HAPPENS IN ONE’S STATE OF EXISTENCE

  • Nayan nayan mein was dealt with in the earlier post. When Lord has completely, totally, eternally occupied one’s heart and the devotee’s nayan, the devotee’s heart, the devotee’s thoughts are no more his nayan, his heart, his thoughts but, as learnt in the last post, when Lord has touched, Lord has hugged, Lord has entered the devotee’s very existence and the complete non dual merger of devotee and Lord, Bhakta and Bhagwan is attained, has happened!
  • Now, tell me o pure souls, when He has become you, you have become HIM, the sugar has mixed with the water, the salt doll had merged in the salt ocean and now, it is impossible to again segregate and take out the devotee from Lord, the salt doll from the salt lake, the sugar from the syrup, then, how would you actually be looking at others in the world, how would you be comprehending the world and its beings??
  • Nayan nayan mein Sai Aum - Is it ever possible now, to see the world to see all, as you the devotee, after Lord has come in and merged in you and you have merged in Lord?
  • Since the fountain head of Divine love is filled inside and one has thus reached the source through the journey WITHIN, one emerges back into the wide open world and the LOVE ALL SERVE ALL happens spontaneously, without even a thought of loving or serving all. Thus, when you have discovered that you are the reservoir of LOVE yourself, whatever manifests from you can only be what you are or what you have discovered yourself to be - LOVE.
  • One should not take advantage of this learning and sit quietly, leave all service activities and tell to oneself, "First I shall become a mature and ripe devotee and fill my heart with love, then I shall think of service". Krishna has not taught Bhakti yoga before Karma yoga. When service is taken up initially, one’s ego level does and must come down and thus, the sevak is ready for the dose of Bhakti. This dose may contain bhajans, prayers, fasting, satsangh, pilgrimage, reading of holy books or any such thing.
  • Having soaked in his devotion for Lord, one moves forward, without abandoning the service activities.
  • As Bhakti matures and evolves to LOVE, the quality of service also improves. One who started service with a bhava “I am doing”, matures and evolves to radiate pure love which takes the upper hand and the so called serving or service, is just done un-noticed, leave alone by the world, but un-noticed even by the one who is serving.
  • So, in real sense, though in initial stage of our spiritual journey, we have to take up service to all, as instructed by the Lord, the goal must be clear. We must know one thing for sure-
We can give only what we have. Only when, starting with finding and loving God in portraits, in temple garbagraha, in  videos, in our prayers, we reach the stage of finding lord within, as love itself, when our heart exists as love, then only the true loving all happens and that happening is total and complete
    ”.
  • Till the time we exist as individuals, we are loving those whom we are serving and they are being loved and this love happens with and through our mind.
  • That is, we are seeing the world and its jivas through our eyes, we are perceiving them through our mind, we are judging them through our impressions, we are serving them as a gift given to them by us.
  • Only after crossing the second stage explained above and finding the Lord not in Mathura/ Ayodhya but within the cave of our own heart as PURE LOVE, our nayan is Sai’s nayan, our heart is Sai’s heart, our mind, if it must exist, is Sai’s mind less mind. So, only here, that when we  reach out to serve the humanity, we see them as Sai sees them, we serve them as Sai serves us, we think of them as Sai would think, as Sai has merged in us and we have merged in Sai.
  • So, would Sai say, I love all and I serve all????
  • It is Sai’s nature to love. It is Sai’s very existence which is love, which is to love.
  • So, once you have found the Lord within, then the third stage, or Swami’s words- love all, serve all - just happens.
  • Till the time you have not discovered Lord within, you, as a human, are attempting to love all and serve all. Once you exist as Sai, neither you are there to serve, nor they are there to be served.
Do we at least realize now, after taking in the above learning (which is not given by the author as everything is Him, everything that flows is Him, His voice) that love is God, love in love or love all serve all – no more remain as simple words but they are by themselves a treatise, a sutra, vedas , the upanishads ????????

Swami spoke in such simple manner that we forgot that all He spoke were vedas for the jivas in this kali yuga!

With this, one more dimension of how love results in absolute surrender of our individual ego, gets over.

Hari Aum Tatsat.
