Let us summarize what we learnt in the earlier posts after we were clear about the classification of Indian scriptures.
JIVA (INDIVIDUAL)
And, the Guru throws light on Sadhana
Chatushtaya to the sincere aspirant thus:-
We have learnt about the three qualifications in
detail in few earliest posts till yesterday's post.
They were viveka, vairagya and the shad sampat.
Through viveka, we could discard/ eliminate our
age old attachments to all ephemeral objective pleasure when we developed
vairagya towards the unreal.
This was about DISCARDING.
And, upon discarding our attachments/
attraction/ slavery to all that were unreal, what did we actually acquire???
We developed 6 virtuous qualities.
And, the last block with a question
mark is all about what we ultimately acquire, after gaining the 6 virtues.
