Creation of the Universe - Part 2

HOW CREATION CAME INTO EXISTENCE

Swami said,

For the time being, we will save the above Swami’s saying in our heart and go on to try and understand the most convincing theory which science has given to the mankind for the creation of the universe, so far.

Big Bang Theory - The Premise

The Big Bang theory is an effort to explain what happened at the very beginning of our universe. Discoveries in astronomy and physics have shown beyond a reasonable doubt that our universe did in fact have a beginning.

Prior to that moment there was nothing; during and after that moment there was something: our universe. The big bang theory is an effort to explain what happened during and after that moment.

According to the standard theory, our universe sprang into existence as "singularity" around 13.7 billion years ago.

They are thought to exist at the core of "black holes". Black holes are areas of intense gravitational pressure. The pressure is thought to be so intense that finite matter is actually squished into infinite density (a mathematical concept which truly boggles the mind).

These zones of infinite density are called "singularities." Our universe is thought to have begun as an infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, infinitely dense, something - a singularity. Where did it come from? We don't know. Why did it appear? We don't know.

After its initial appearance, it apparently inflated (the "Big Bang"), expanded and cooled, going from very, very small and very, very hot, to the size and temperature of our current universe.

It continues to expand and cool to this day and we are inside of it: incredible creatures living on a unique planet, circling a beautiful star clustered together with several hundred billion other stars in a galaxy soaring through the cosmos, all of which is inside of an expanding universe that began as an infinitesimal singularity which appeared out of nowhere for reasons unknown. This is the Big Bang theory.

  • At 10 (-43) seconds after birth- (1 m of trillion  of1 trillion  of a second), a big bang was heard.
  • Tiniest drops of primordial cosmic soup with incredible energy locked inside the same came into being with the big bang.
  • There was cosmic oneness inside this soup. This one started becoming many.
  • Within barely 10(-11) seconds, the quarks had elaborated to make enough protons and neutrons n nuclei of first few elements had been formed.
  • Most of the helium nuclei in the universe   were produced within a minute after birth.
  • First atoms came into existence about a hundred thousand years later.
  • After that stars and galaxies were born.

However, the big bang theory has no answer for the following questions.

From where the tiny drops of cosmic soup came into existence?

What is the energy/source which created even this cosmic soup?

What existed before big bang occurred? As per this theory, Prior to this Big Bang where the tiny drops of cosmic slip first came into existence, there was nothing which existed. How this is possible? How can a thing come into existence without any cause? How can something arise out of nothing?

So, if this Big Bang, the appearance of finest drop of cosmic energy owes its appearance to some cause, then what is that cause, which has no matter, as the first matter to have appeared as per this theory is this cosmic soup?

Why this Big Bang has to happen after all? Who is the cause and why and how He/ THAT willed that this Big Bang should occur and the cosmic soup should emerge and then through a process, Atoms, Stars and galaxies should emerge?

Let us get back to our vedas to seek answer to these questions and to more convincing theory for creation of this universe and also, to have the most satisfactory  answer to “Who is the God who created the universe? If God created the universe, then how God himself was created?” Etc

Love.
