Dear All,
The above Gospel has to be understood in the right perspective.
Otherwise, we can just get off by saying that " I am loving all equally. So, what more is required. I am already realized as per Amma's words"!!
This has been dealt elaborately in Surrender theme in the flow " Love God who is part from you, then love God within you and then the Love all is the culmination of finding the God within you, not for few minutes if few hours or even few years but eternally!
Start loving God in the picture/ portrait / as a deity installed in temple/ any place of worship first. This has to go on for several years in most of the cases. This Love for God as One who is separate from you, focussing on such God intensely results in melting of your ego/ surrendering your Ego at the Lotus feet of Lord.
Then comes the ultimate stage in one's spiritual sadhana where, The duality between the devotee and the God is gone and the devotion for God transforms into supreme love for God which culminates into the devotee existing JUST AS LOVE, where, he is not there and the God is not there.
ONLY this discovering God within, existing as Love, can result in the EXPANSIVENESS referred by Amma in the above Quote.
Expansiveness is not expanding your heart deliberately and then giving your love deliberately to each one around you.
Expansiveness is PREMA SAGARA.
Expansiveness is your existence as supreme Love, which has no mine or thine, which has no boundary, which is not some thing you deliberately extend to others but IT IS THE STATE OF YOUR EXISTENCE AS LOVE.
It is only then, the last line in the quote- ' Loving each thing equally" actually comes true.
When you lose your ego and exist as Love ( Love is God) , you cannot differentiate between you the one who loves and the other being who receives your love.
So, it is not that you love things equally. All get your Love equally because, in your state of existence, there is no you, there is no few, there are no many, there are no all. You exist as God, the ocean of Love which has no beginning, no middle and no end. That is, you as Love, exist as God, enveloping / pervading the whole creation ( ISA VAASYAM IDAGM SARVAM)
Then, the some or many or all are within you, as you are all pervading Love.
So, without your thinking/ deliberating/ doing any thing, by virtue of your existing as all pervading Love, it is but natural that all beings, the entire creation, living or non living beings - Must get drenched in the nectarine Love that you verily exist as!!
