Sandeha Nivarini - Post 18

So, the entire spiritual journey is not to gain anything new, anything afresh but to remove the ignorance of our identifying ourselves as this mind and senses and recognizing ourselves as one with that pure awareness.

There was one saint in the Himalayas to whom one visitor expressed anxiety that how can he believe that he is Brahman / pure consciousness when he can see himself as a person with a body??

Saint: How do you know that so and so is your mother?

Visitor: There are hospital records Swami ji. And more over the nurse has seen me after I came out of my mother's womb and she is witness.

Saint: Are, Hum us nurse se bhi gaye guzre hain jo tum hamari baat par bharosa nahin kar rahe ho, jab hum kah rahe hain ki tum BRAHM (Brahman / Pure awareness) ho?????

(Are my words so incredible that they are  not even as real as to the nurse's confirmation?? As she confirmed that you are so and so, Am I not also confirming that your are Brahman, the pure consciousness????)

Dear ones,

We are verily God / pure awareness. This is Sathyam, Sathyam, Sathyam.

Swami addressed us "Divyatma Swarupalara" from 1940 t0 2011 only to drive the truth in us that we and He are ONE PURE AWARENESS.

Atleast after today's post, we have to be clear that we have caught that pure illumination / consciousness somewhere in the middle, not as source, but as the mind which is illumined by the pure consciousness through reflection from our intellect and then, holding on to our mind, we are dancing and living this life sojourn + several births before and several births after with a firm belief that we are this body, we are this mind.

Let us begin our march for the glorious home coming. Let us reach the source which has illumined the entire creation and yet stands apart from the creation alone, call it God, call it Brahman, call it pure consciousness. We have to reach that source and merge with that source.

Till the time we take up sincere sadhana to march towards the goal, we will endlessly be taking up some religious activities here and there and then eating, sleeping, making merry and ultimately die, to be reborn, to clear our karmas and it is a chakravyuh, a vicious circle in which we will be caught for ever.

Love.

God is
the life behind your life,
the sight behind your eyes,
the taste behind your tongue,
and the love behind your love.
To realize this to the fullest extent is Self-realization. Without God's power you can do nothing.

If you always hold this thought, you cannot go wrong, because you will have purified the temple of your mind and your soul with the vibrations of God.
