Surrender IS living moment to moment

Dear All,

The one line given by Amma above is a state of realization, not a line for appreciating and leaving.

We say that we surrender all our thoughts, words, actions, our very life to God totally.

When we say this line, do we actually know what it is to surrender actually?

In the 1st cover page  of a book by Phyllis Krystal titled " reconnecting the love energy", Swami's quote appears which says " Abandon all your plans, even the best ones".

When we plan for our children, our family and our basic social requirements, it is ok. But when it comes to our own personal life, our desires, our attachments, our hatred, our inhibitions, our fear etc., any plan that we do with any of these qualities, CANNOT BE SURRENDER.

On the one hand, we are bound  by our karma  on the other hand, if at all our karma can be wiped out by God, it is UPON OUR TOTAL SURRENDER TO GOD ONLY.

Then, why plan??

Cant we look back and see that the best of our plans have failed in our life??

We anticipate things, we anticipate happenings, we anticipate  actions and reactions from some people, we anticipate political changes, we anticipate this and that.. O, we just seem to be anticipating and anticipating in our life, leaving no time for us to focus on GOD !

Instead of all this, how wonderful is it to surrender to God, saying, " THY WILL BE DONE"?!!

This is living life moment to moment.

You act at a particular moment, without thinking or planning about the same an hour before and without thinking of the action performed after the action is over.

The famous example given umpteen number of times by the author for this is Sathya Sai, floating into Kulwant hall, seeing each and every human being seated there, every day, week after weeks, months after months, year after years.

Every day, Sai sees us as though He is seeing us only at that moment and that is why, we are able to get immersed in His total Love.

If He sees us today, walks away with impression on us as He knows our past and present, will He shower the same love on us as one who does not know any thing about us or the one who has no connection with what we are externally but has connection only to the divine we??

If you try and live one day...ne...half a day, a life moment to moment, without any plan, only in Godly thoughts, just acting as required in life, in office, at home without any thoughts, I can write and give you that that one day or half day would be the the most beautiful day in your life!!!
